Clean an LCD Screen

This website is designed to have the information you need to find the best possible under counter TV, or under cabinet TV for your individual needs.

All under-the-cabinet TVs make use of LCD screens because of the small size and light weight.

Using the TV in the kitchen, boat, or RV can result in the screen becoming dirty rather quickly. But LCD screens are very particular, and can be damaged if not cleaned properly.

To clean an LCD screen, first turn the unit off.

Wipe it with a clean, dry, soft rag.

If it is still dirty, use a 50/50 mixture of Isopropyl alcohol and distilled water. Either use it in a spray bottle, or lightly moisten a clean, soft rag. (Microfiber rags, such as those used for cleaning glass lenses, work exceptionally well.) Gently rub the screen with the alcohol/water solution and the rag.

Do not use regular tap water, as the chemicals in the water will leave a residue on the screen. Also, be sure to only use isopropyl alcohol. Do NOT use 'rubbing alcohol', as these contain ingredients in addition to the alcohol which can leave residue on the screen.
